The following Ayurvedic therapies are available at “Spring of Life” Ayurveda treatment-centre.

Massage Therapies

Synchronised Abhyanga ( Synchronised Massage - 40 min) 

Two hands on both sides of your body massage you from your shoulders to your toes in a continuous wavy motion with synchronized pressure. It balances your doshas, relaxes your tense muscles, improves the blood circulation, helps to slow down the ageing process and leads to rejuvenation. It relieves fatigue and balances the nervous system. The specially prepared herbal oil is selected by our Doctor to meet each individual requirements and composition.

Shirsha Abhyanga ( Head massage - 30 min)

Head massage with selected herbal oils promotes hair growth, relieves symptoms of stress and provides a sense of deep relaxation and tranquillity. Head massage leads to correct balance in the immune system and hormones.

 

Vakthra Abhyanga (Face massage - 30min)

Enhances nourishment and cleansing of facial tissues which gives a glowing complexion to the face.
It helps to maintain good tone and elasticity to all skin layers to hold your youthful contours. Alleviates facial tensions and bodily stress and reduces wrinkles.

 

Pada Abhyanga (Foot Massage - 30 minutes)

A foot massage provides a complete therapy by stimulating reflexes in the sloes of your feet to maintain proper hormonal secretion, optimum blood circulation and to increase mental and physical energy.
Nearly every day our guests receive this valuable treatment.

Kati Griva Vimardhana (Back-, Neck- and Shoulder-Massage - 30min)

Incorrect postures lead to back and neck stiffness. The massage restores flexibility and relieves strained muscles.

Oil Therapies

Shirodara (Stream of oil to the forehead - 15 – 45 minutes)

The “Shirodara” treatment addresses the mental and physical dimensions of Ayurveda as it seeks to bring mind and body into harmony. This is the most relaxing, revitalizing and energizing treatment for your body, mind and spirit. It connects the five senses and balances the nervous system through the body. We use individually made pure natural herbal oils. 
The treatment is used for the following symptoms: 
anxiety, restlessness, neck stiffness, frozen shoulder, insomnia, psychiatric disorders, facial paralysis and migraine.

Shiro Vasti (Oilcap on the head - 30 - 40 min)

Oil is poured into a special cap on the head.
This treatment is used for the alleviation of the same symptoms as Shirodara and produces similar results.

Akshitharpana (Eye bath) 

A method of keeping the oil over the eye in a small artificially created tank with the help of a special paste.
Symptoms: Dry eye, glaucoma, myopia. 
This treatment improves vision, brightness of eyes, growth of eye lashes

Raktha Mokshana (blood letting through medicinal leeches)

Indication: skin diseases, abscess, varicose veins, glaucoma 
This is blood letting by special medicinal leeches to remove in a save way the poison of the blood. 

SARVANGADARA (Oil bath - 40 minutes)

Luke warm herbal oil is poured in a continuous stream over the whole body in different postures by two therapists in a special rhythmic movement with a gentle massage. 
Symptoms: Nervous weakness, joint disorders, Parkinson, Multiple Scleroses, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis.

  Ekangadara (30 minutes)

Special prescribed warmed herbal oil pouring over the affected part of the body like knees and ankles.
Indication: knee pains, heel pains. 

  Kati Vasti (30 minutes)

A special treatment that keeps oil on the vertebra. 
Symptoms: Back pain, Lumbar spondilosis, Sciatica, Disc prolapsed
